I love this picture of Claude. What a pro. In the zone. Sure, he's on the beach with his wife but he's not letting her mindless chit chat get into his head and distract him from focusing on next weeks tricky away game at Fratton Park. Total Professional.

I've just seen this photo. What a player. Look at his happy little face. I bet he played well that day. Gave 110% Probably got subbed late in the game. What were they thinking?

I love Claude Makelele. He's probably the best footballer of his generation despite his little legs. I used to love watching him play and miss him loads. Does anyone know what he's up to these days and if he's going to come back to football?

If not, at least we have the memories. Mmmmmm Claude Makelele.
